ABSTRACT

Albert Einstein once reportedly said: ‘You cannot solve problems with the way of thinking that led to their creation’. That sentiment lies behind this issue of Social Alternatives which, in brief, is premised on the conviction that the many problems confronting humanity globally will ultimately only be addressed by a new way of thinking. That way requires significant, global cultural changes, grounded in an eco-centric ethic which values life preeminently.
